Hi guys, trying something to keep you more informed of what's going on this year at ND in my science classes. First semester I'm teaching Grade 12 University Chemistry (Period 1), Grade 10 Academic Science (Period 2) Grade 12 College Chemistry (Period 4).
I'll be adding in course outlines and other important information, including a review of what you should know prior to starting this class, as diagnostic tests will be done Thursday or Friday of the first week of school so I can make sure you guys are in the right class. Just a quick summary to start:
Grade 12 U - You must have grade 11 U chemistry and grade 11 U or U/C math with a recommended mark of 70+. There is some physics to the course, along with graphing and problem solving.
Grade 12 C - You must have either grade 10 applied science with a recommended mark of 70+ or grade 10 academic science with a recommended mark of 60+. You should also have a grade 11 math with a minimum mark of 60%.
Grade 10 D - You must have grade 9 academic science with a recommended mark of 65+ and grade 9 math with a recommended mark of 65+.
All classes require a binder, lined paper, pencils, eraser, ruler, scientific calculator, and grade 10's also need a protractor.
Happy 3 weeks left of summer guys - see you September 3rd!
