I have re-uploaded all the PPT files for this unit without the fancy atom background. This will save ink and hopefully not crash Stephanie's computers! The worksheets are there as well, though you do not need to print them out.
Don't forget to check into the "12U links" section from time to time to see helpful (or just rediculously cheesy chemistry song) videos for the lessons we have covered so far in each unit. There are a handful already for this unit, and they are a good way to review or introduce yourself to a concept nightly.
If you are struggling in this unit, please do not wait until the last minute to get help. I am free every morning from 7:30AM to the bell, 1st lunch, and some days after school - these will all depend on my extra-curricular and personal schedule, so please try and schedule after school in advance - I can't always stay and help - I do, shockingly, have a life of my own. If I can't stay, it's not simply because I don't want to help you - I just have other things to do! I will ALWAYS offer help whenever I am free, and that has been my policy since I began teaching way too long ago!
Expect your first quiz on Tuesday. It will cover lessons 1-3 only (though we should finish lesson 3 tomorrow and you'll have the weekend to do the work and Monday to ask questions).
I will be marking your labs this weekend - I am expecting great things as many of the ones I edited were pretty spectacular already!
